“Stop wasting your recruitment budget!”
OK, I agree this is somewhat unorthodox! A Job site’s MD telling you to stop paying for a recruitment service. But that’s exactly what I am saying.
Let me explain!
Why pay to advertise a job availability either on a job site or in local paper and receive a huge number of replies which you have to trawl through and which is very time consuming, only to find that over half of the applications are unqualified?
I like to call this way of recruiting “Pay and Pray”, as you don’t know what you will get when you hand over the money plus you're having to sort out the good from the bad yourself.
Because of these very reasons some people like to use a recruitment agent or head hunter and that’s fine if you’re looking to fill a highly skilled job. But let’s face it, their charges are astronomical and they don’t always produce the best candidates.
On a side note have you ever thought of where recruitment agents and head hunters find their candidates?

By stipulating how many qualified applications your want to receive. You’re in full control of your budget and by adding your “Killer Questions” you’re able to filter out all unqualified applications saving you time and money.
